Time for a new blog. Hi it's Carole here. I am your RSM coach, or the creator of this site. For those who have been with this site for a while, gee hasn't time flown by. It's been a year since the site got up and running. I have to share with you some of the things that have happened over that time. 1st and formost lots and I mean lots of people have been on this site. Even better load of calendars have been downloaded from this site. Which says to me that many of you have given it a go. Unfotunatley for me, the way it works is once you get started you don't really need to keep coming on the site. Which of course is how I wanted it to be, easy to do I mean.
But because of this we don't get to hear how your all going with it. which is a shame. It would be really good to encourage those not sure about it. So please after you've been going for a month or two please drop us a line and share with us, on have your say.
I have been in contact with one lovely lady, who has been passing the word out in her place of work. And she assures me many are giving it a go. So perhaps soon some of these Mum's will share with us and encourage others.
The second exciting thing is possibly ,RSM will get some T.V coverage. Which will really get the word out when this happens.
Up and coming is the new calendars, which I will be working on posting up, soon. But if your confident enough, having done RSM for a while. I'm sure you can set your own. If you do share with us how easy or hard you found it to do.
Lastly I want to say I hope you guys had a good year and wish you an even better 2010.
So could you please pass the word out there. www.rsmshoptosave.webs.com
Thanks Carole. ![]()
P.S hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Guys
I know the calendars are about to expire. Hopefully those of you who having been doing RSM now have the idea of what to do and any pitfalls to look out for when setting your own calendars. And I hope you've been able to set your calendars for the next year. I have been updated about a few people using the method. Would love for some of you to leave POSITIVE comments if it's been working for you. I know it would be a good thing for others to see. So please, please leave some feedback.
I also want to appolygise to the new readers about not having the next 12 months worth of calendars up yet. I am working on them now. And hope to have them up within the next week. I have noted that there has been a bit of traffic on the site over the past few weeks. So if that's you and you'd like to give it a go. Please keep watching this space for the new 2010 calendars, so you can get started.
Cheers Carole ![]()

Hi there,
Time for reflection from me to you all. It's been a top year, I finally got RSM out for all to see, and better yet letting people know how, what and why. So if they choose they could GIVE IT A GO. And from the amount of traffic over this past year (on the site) and the amount of calendars that I have seen go off the site. I am sure many out there in cyber space or wherever they are living have choosen to do just that, give RSM and Quicksave a go. I hope those of you who have are going ok.
I have to just presume all of this(that your going ok with it) as I haven't had an emails or posts to let us know how your going. It is easy to do if you put your mind to it, like anything really. So I 'd love some feedback. Just putting out a christmas wish, hope you can help make me happy, oh and my birthday's coming up so if you don't believe in christmas, you know bah humbug and all that, maybe you could give me an early birthday pressy it's on the 19th of December. Cheers thanks for that.
So I'm just asking for a post on have your say, please.. let those who are not sure how easy it really is.
Also let me post what I did with my savings for 2009. I spent it all on christmas pressies. In fact this week is my friday shop, so next week will be the start of another years savings. LOL. Can't wait to spend the next lot.
Also I have in the pipeline (maybe) a story going on T.V about how it works, just waiting patiently to hear back from producer, so can't say too much. But you know I'll keep you all updated. So if your doing it don't forget to keep checking in on the site once in a while for updates or better still join as a member to the site, it's free you know. This site sells nothing it just gives info out FREE. Oh when I go on holidays in January I'll be sure to work on updating the calendars for the next year, for those unsure how to set their own.
Hope you all had a fantastic 2009 and wish you an even better 2010. Stay safe over christmas and the holiday period. Look forward to hearing from ya all soon. Cheers Carole.

I have recently joined two fantastic sites. I would love for you to check them out.
The first is a money saving site, which people share information on all sorts of ways to save money. I have written a bit of advise myself.
http://www.savingsguide.com.au
The second is a parenting site. It has all sorts of interesting information which people share. A great variety of topics fro families. I have had some fun writing advise. It is certainly worth a look.
Hope you have as much fun and get as much benifit from these site as I have. In fact I am going to take a leaf out of their books. I am planning to set up a newsletter of money savings ideas and tips and articles that I will sent once a month to members of my site that wish to recieve the information. So I just have to get my act together and organise it.
Keep any eye out for it.
Cheers Carole

I have had a few comments from people a little sceptical about how RSM/RSM quicksave can work without you spending more money. So first let me start by saying anything is possible if you really want it to be and are prepared to work a little to make it happen. YES, you are going to still spend the same amount of budgeted money that you currently do on shopping. And YES, you are going to make the shopping last 1-3 days more than your currently doing.
When you go shopping can you honestly tell me that you have NOTHING left in the cupboards or the fridge and freezer.
Because if you said YES to that I reakon you'd be the only person in the whole world that would. Seriously when most people go shopping they do have enough to probably not shop for another week, barring maybe the fresh vegies, fruit and maybe the bread and milk. So I had these people say your relying on stores for this to work. Ok maybe in the begining Yes, I guess that's true. But once you get going, your PLANNING for the extra couple of meals needed and the extra bit of bread and milk becomes second nature. In any case their are reminders written on the calendar. Also the first time you forget something and need to go buy it on your NO SHOP WEEK it etches in your memory and you'll remember to check you've got enough of it next time. Like I said before the key work is PLANNING. Every sucessful buisness has two key elements to it, Budgeting and Planning. Every sucessful person in the world would I think have the same priciple plus one added determination, somethink we are all capable if we CHOOSE.
So I hope that if your one of those septics I have given you enough in my answer to change your mind.
I do believe their id a saying " You'll never ever know, if you don't give it a go."
So what are you waiting for ?
Look forward to hearing of you sucess soon ![]()
Cheers Carole.

I Have a few people to say "Thank You" to.....
Firstly my daughter Natalya ( she likes to be called NAT ) for helping me to get this website up and running.
She is so cleaver I think. I am a little bias. She is 14 now and knows so much more about computors, than her mum. ![]()
Then to Peter, who went through and corrected my extremely bad grammar. The site is so much more easier to read now.
I know you are good at what you do being a retied English teacher. I had a good laugh when I got a corrected piece of work at 40 - something. It took me back to school days. I really do appreciated what you did. lol
Lastly but not least, to Amy-Lee who did the fantastic illustrations. I just love Bill and the piggy bank is really cute too.
I know there's more to come and I can't wait too see them. Love your work sweet girl. ;)
Any readers who need work doing I can put you in touch with Amy-Lee, just email me.
